August theme at Art Journal Journey is Count Your Blessings... I'm blessed to have a loving husband that has my back no matter what. I'm blessed to have caring, supportive friends that encourage me in everything I do. I'm blessed with sight, hearing, taste & smell as there is so much beauty in this world. I'm blessed to have a constant urge to create and access to the internet to share with others. I'm blessed to enjoy cooking and have fresh ingredients to cook with. I'm blessed to live in a city I love with so much to see and do and explore. What are you blessed with and thankful for? :) Join the Paint Party Friday here! Wow, Misty for someone who has hurt her wrist, you've done some incredibly beautiful work. Especially love the mer. Arnica cream is wonderful for topically helping any kind of bruising/trauma. I took a bad spill yesterday on some water in my house and my whole arm is killing me, I've been applying the cream like crazy.
ReplyDeleteSending you blessings of healing.
Hi Lisa and Wendy!
ReplyDeleteThese were actually done before the wrist thing... and I'm still tender/sore but will be playing in the art room this weekend! :)
Thanks so much to both of you for your wonderful compliments and for your well wishes! :)
Uuuh, that sounds like you're doing well relaxing it. If you've been typing or painting a lot, it might be a beginning tendovaginitis (nasty!). If it doesn't stop, try cooling it with ice packs and bandaging it to stop your wrist from moving too much.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon!
