Human Kokopelli Dancer on Wood
This is a mixed media painting on wood...
14 x7 inches
Once I finished her, she reminded me of a kokopelli, so thats what I named her. :)
n. {der. Hopi “kokopilau” (koko = wood, pilau = hump)} the humpbacked Flute Player, mythical Hopi symbol of fertility, replenishment, music, dance, and mischief.

She is so pretty! I love her movement and I love the colour you used ;o) Hugs Misty ;o)
ReplyDeleteShe is pretty! I have just decided, as soon as we are out of our financial rut, I am getting one of your paintings... I like them. (And I don't care if the BF does. ^^ )
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacy! she was a sketch that I did years ago and brought to life on a whim... I'm glad I did, she makes me smile. :) And those are my favorite colors... shhh, dont tell anyone. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Diandra!
I'm glad you like my art enough to purchase a painting! :) After the art show, I'll be posting what remains in the etsy shop... that will be in October. I'm sure you will pick a painting that will sing sweetly to the bf. ;)
